While Joel's brother Nathan and his wife Jennifer and their kids were here a couple weekends ago we all went to the zoo in metropolitan downtown Boise. The new African exhibit is pretty nice. There are actually a couple live giraffes among the little bronze ones, but I think any hippos they may have had must have floated down the river. Or else they're really, really tired. We took some pictures so we could prove to Seth later in life that we were good parents and took him to the zoo when he was little.
And that he even got to do the fun stuff that cost extra money.
And we didn't stop him from climbing on things where there were "no climbing" signs posted. What a charmed childhood he leads.
I guess he'll just have to believe us that it was him in the green hat. We always seemed to get the back of their heads trying to get both them and the animals in the shot. Seth had fun hanging out with cousin Makaila.
